I wanted to see how my work looked in a more traditional colour pallet and with more natural elements to it. I was given a big bag of souvenir dolls as a child and I liked how they looked with vintage bears and dogs. I used my iPad to create some digital paintings of them and used them to mock up a couple of rooms. I had taken a ten week road trip in a Land Rover across Europe so I used some of the images from this. I spent a lot of time in antique shops as a child. A family friend ran an antique shop. I liked the effect but I think it jars a bit with the digital designs. Somehow it looks a bit tacky for interiors. This was a step in the process.
